Does TCSL guarantee a supplier or product quality?
No. We support discovery and coordination, but the buyer must approve the supplier, specifications and commercial terms. Independent factory audits, testing, contracts or legal checks should be used where the risk warrants them.
What information should a sourcing brief include?
Provide drawings or specifications, materials, quantity, tolerances, standards, packaging, target timeline, destination and any unacceptable substitutions. A clear brief produces more comparable supplier responses.
Can you coordinate samples before a larger order?
Yes, where the supplier offers samples. We can help coordinate sample collection and courier movement; product approval and testing remain the buyer's responsibility.
How are sourcing and procurement fees handled?
The support scope is agreed before work starts and may depend on the research, communication, order value, number of suppliers and logistics coordination involved. Third-party inspection, testing and freight are quoted separately.
Can purchases from several suppliers be combined?
Potentially. Compatibility, cargo-ready dates, supplier locations, export documentation and consolidation costs need review. Combining orders only helps when the timing and total landed cost make sense.
